About Us

The Fashion Pit is here to bring attention to not only the pit bulls and cats in need of homes in NYC and surrounding areas, but also the organizations and heroes who save them every day.

The name Fashion Pit came from our first fundraiser in 2007, which was a doggy fashion show held at Max Fish in NYC. The event featured many super-chic pits modeling both high fashion and street gear (check out photos at www.myspace.com/thefashionpit).

We'll have more great fundraisers in the future to help support local rescue groups, so stay tuned!
